Baneshwar Cave - Baner Heritage Walk
Baneshwar Shiva Temple is located on the slopes of the Hillock in Baner’s core area. Did you know it was originally a ~2000 year old Buddhist cave? Now a bustling modern suburb in Western Pune as of 21st century, Baner was an idyllic farming settlement on the outskirts of Pune until very recently.
Join us to explore the stories of Baner’s evolution and how a Buddhist cave turned into a Shiva temple over hundreds of years!
When? - 22 February, Saturday - 5.00 to 6.30 pm
Session Fees - Rs 300 per person (free for children upto 12 years)
