Maharookh Daver

Maharookh after completing her masters from Bombay university in Political Science with a specialisation in International Relations, Maharookh joined Thomas Cook as a management trainee. She spent 2 years with Thomas Cook Mumbai in the holidays division doing both domestic and inbound tourism after which she was transferred to Pune to set up its Leisure travel division. While in Pune she dealt with Inbound, outbound and domestic tourism as well as conferences, closely involved in both marketing and operations. She quit after 8 years with Thomas Cook to set up her own travel consultancy dealing with curated premium holidays. Maharookh has around 30 years of experience in the travel industry with a wide array of experience in all it's aspects. She’s fond of baking and when not working likes cook up treats for friends and family. Maharookh facilitates Travel and Tourism for grades 9-10 and enjoys emphasising our interconnectedness through the subject. She firmly believes that “ We travel not to escape life , but for life not to escape us”
