Prathamesh Pawar

A geologist by training and a teacher at heart, Prathamesh loves to bring in his passion for Mother Earth into the classroom. He studied sciences at Fergusson College and completed his Masters from Pune University. Prathamesh has diverse experience in the education sector for the last 8 years - in the social sector as a content creator, visiting faculty at Fergusson College, and a facilitator at DLRC since 2021. Prathamesh has been following many passions and hobbies since he was a teenager - collecting postage stamps, currency notes and coins, rocks and fossils. He is a history buff, astronomy enthusiast, and enjoys a good mystery novel. At DLRC, Prathamesh facilitates Social Studies and Environmental Literacy in Middle School, while in JHS, he facilitates Geography, Environmental Management, and History. Under the DLRC Extended Experiences, Prathamesh conducts Star Gazing sessions, Forest Trails, and Heritage Walks.
