Shivaji Mane

Shivaji is a tinkerer at heart and enjoys designing and making toys to promote scientific experiential learning. He has conducted more than 2800 science toys workshops across various schools, colleges, NGOs and societies. Thousands of children, parents, teachers, and corporate employees have benefited from these workshops. Shivaji mostly uses material from trash, like waste plastic bottles, rubber slippers, used pens, etc., to make these science toys and teaching aids. This promotes sustainability among the younger generation. Shivaj has worked extensively under the tutelage of Padma Shri awardee, Shri Arvind Guptaji, at IUCAA for learning and making scientific toys. 

At DLRC, he coordinates the 'Design Lab' for all grades. He also helps with organising 'experimental Physics' at DLRC in high school.
